Curious… but what Reynolds is describing although he doesn’t mention it is also the way book publishing will go. Once a specific e-reader gets a clear lead in the field we’ll have books as cheap downloads like music and then limited edition expensive runs… in the cult area at least. I don’t think the £10 pod book has a particularly long shelf-life outside tomes that are sold to students… And what a nice guy Simon Reynolds continues to be… good to see him covering you….
