Well when I die don’t you bury me at all,
Just nail my bones up on the wall,
Beneath these bones let these words be seen,
“This is the bloody gears of a boppin’ machine”

saw these lot at brixton academy in the mid 90s. never really liked the recorded sound – but live they made sense like all the best rockers. had 1/2 hour of 50s b-movie horror trailers b4 they came on – then all clad in skintight black pvc and stilletoes, songs twice as fast as the records lux climbing all over the stax – mindblowing
Damn shame. So young, so innocent, so pretty!
Yeah I saw them in the mid 80s, absolutely mental and lots of fun!
no “legendary status” lip service to someone “in the canon”
Lux was the living breathing testifying motherfucking real deal and the world is a sadder, emptier, less rock’n’roll place with his passing
Yet another part of my childhood is now dead.
