Soundmurderer done good with some great amen mash up biz including a rerub of Niney the Observer’s “Blood and Fire” and some other stuff, but he was seriously outmatched by The Bug, Warrior Queen, Ras Bogle, Mexican and the other one whose name I forget – serious reworkings of the album tracks and some new stuff, with added disses thrown in “murder Soundmurderer!!!”

Personally I thought it worked really well alternating the Bug’s ragga tempo tracks with some mashed up jungle – stopped it getting to samey.

The only drawback with the gig was that sometimes the vocals got lost in the noise, but the session last night had incredible quality sound. The prospect of kids in the sticks tuning into that in their bedrooms is one to ponder on.

Sounds like some new tracks are on their way as well – great stuff on first listen.
